The Workflow

How DraftTime Works for Lacrosse

From registration through results — the full Lacrosse operating cycle on one platform.

  1. 01

    Register & Segment

Age or grade eligibility with a configurable cutoff date, divisions from youth to high school, waivers and payments online — one permanent profile per player.

  2. 02

    Test at Stations

40-yard dash, shot speed, ground-ball series and agility runs at dedicated stations, with the embedded speed timer for timed drills.

  3. 03

    Score & Rank

Blind scoring keeps evaluators independent; weighted metrics and position-specific ratings rank the full tryout pool with percentile rankings.

  4. 04

    Draft & Build Teams

Run a live snake draft with a public viewing mode, or build balanced teams from Performance Lab scores — with roster lock and audited placements.

Registration & Athlete Profiles

Every Athlete, One Permanent Record

Registration

Age or grade eligibility rules with a configurable cutoff date, divisions you define, capacity limits with waitlists, and family/sibling discounts.

Athlete Profiles

Primary and secondary positions, height and weight, graduation year, photos and achievements — one permanent profile per player.

Performance Lab

Lacrosse Performance Lab Templates

A typical DraftTime lacrosse tryout template:

MetricMeasured AsNotes
40-Yard Dash lower is bettertime · seconds—
Shot Speedspeed · mph—
Ground-Ball Seriescount—
Agility Course lower is bettertime · seconds—

Build any of these with DraftTime's Performance Lab template builder — tryout, practice, game and camp templates with custom metric types, multiple attempts, position-specific scoring and 1–5, 1–10 or 1–100 scales. Timed drills can run on the embedded speed timer.

Event Day

Check-In, Stations & Live Operations

The same event engine runs Performance Lab sessions, tryouts, camps, clinics and meets.

Event Day & Check-In

Every Lacrosse event runs on the same operational engine. Families register online and each registration receives its own check-in QR code. On event day, staff scan athletes in at the gate with optional photo capture, add walk-ups on site, and track every station, evaluator and athlete in real time from Mission Control.

Scoring Workflow

Evaluators score from any device at their station, and blind scoring keeps results hidden until submission so each judge works independently. A head evaluator can review and override with a recorded reason. Weighted metrics and position-specific scoring let your Lacrosse staff emphasize exactly what matters for each position group.

Rankings & Results

Performance Lab scores and percentile rankings rank the full tryout pool, live leaderboards update during the event and can be made public, and automated result emails reach every family.

Team Building

Drafting & Rosters

Placement tools for programs that form teams from Performance Lab results.

Draft & Team Building

The Balanced Team Builder forms fair teams from tryout scores automatically — or run a live snake draft with a public broadcast mode, with roster lock for final placements.
