TERMS & CONDITIONS + POLICIES


1. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

  • Registration is not considered complete until payment is received in full or through an approved payment plan.
  • Players will not be assigned to a team or issued equipment until registration is completed.
  • All fees must be paid before participation in games.

2. NO GUARANTEED TEAM PLACEMENT

  • Team placement is based on evaluations, roster availability, and league structure.
  • Completing registration does not guarantee placement in a specific division, team, or with specific coaches.

3. EQUIPMENT POLICY (VERY IMPORTANT)

Ave Maria Tackle Football provides:

  • Helmet
  • Shoulder Pads

All equipment is loaned for the season and remains the property of the program.

Parents/Guardians agree to the following:

  • Equipment must be returned at the end of the season
  • Equipment must be kept in good condition
  • Any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment may result in a replacement fee

Failure to return equipment may result in:

  • Additional charges
  • Ineligibility for future participation

4. PRACTICE & GAME COMMITMENT

  • Players are expected to attend scheduled practices and games
  • Teams typically practice 2 times per week
  • Games will be held weekly

Consistent attendance supports team development and player progress.


5. PLAYER CONDUCT

All players are expected to:

  • Show respect to coaches, teammates, officials, and staff
  • Follow instructions from coaches and league personnel
  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times

Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in:

  • Removal from practice or games
  • Suspension from the program

6. PARENT / GUARDIAN CONDUCT

Parents and spectators must:

  • Maintain respectful behavior toward coaches, officials, and staff
  • Refrain from coaching from the sidelines
  • Avoid confrontational or disruptive behavior

The league maintains a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect or aggressive behavior.

Violations may result in:

  • Removal from the field area
  • Suspension from attending events

7. PLAYING TIME

  • Ave Maria Tackle Football is a development-focused program, but playing time is not guaranteed and may vary based on:
    • Attendance
    • Effort
    • Skill level
    • Game situations

8. MUSIC & ENVIRONMENT POLICY

  • All music played during practices and games must be clean and appropriate for youth audiences
  • The program is committed to maintaining a family-friendly environment at all times

9. WEATHER POLICY

  • Practices and games may be adjusted, delayed, or canceled due to weather conditions
  • Safety is the top priority in all scheduling decisions

10. REFUND POLICY

  • Registration fees are non-refundable once the season begins
  • Refunds prior to the season may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • No refunds will be issued for missed practices or games

11. INJURY & LIABILITY WAIVER

Participation in tackle football involves inherent risks.

By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge:

  • Understanding of the physical nature of the sport
  • Acceptance of risks associated with participation

Ave Maria Tackle Football, its staff, and affiliates are not liable for injuries that occur during participation, except in cases of gross negligence.


12. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE

  • The program may capture photos and videos during practices and games
  • These may be used for promotional purposes, including social media and marketing

13. PROGRAM CHANGES

  • Ave Maria Tackle Football reserves the right to adjust schedules, divisions, or program structure as needed to ensure a successful season
