Team Placement Guidelines for the Ave Maria Jr. NBA Basketball League

OFFICIAL TEAM ASSIGNMENT POLICY

Article I – League Placement System

All players registered in the Ave Maria Jr. NBA Basketball League shall be assigned to teams through the Official League Draft Process.

Team placement is determined solely by league administration.

Friend requests, coach requests, or team preference submissions will not be accepted.

Article II – Competitive Integrity

The Official Draft Process exists to preserve:

• Competitive balance
• Fair player distribution
• Structured league development
• Long-term program integrity

The league reserves full authority in all placement decisions.

Article III – Evaluation & Draft Authority

Team placement may consider:

• Age eligibility
• Player experience
• Observed skill level (if evaluation sessions are held)
• Competitive balance across divisions

Final roster decisions are made exclusively by the League Director and Draft Committee.

All team assignments are final upon official release.

Article IV – Non-Interference Clause

Attempts to influence team placement through private requests, external pressure, or informal agreements may result in review or removal from the league.
